The man, who is in his 20s, claims his mother made him a Christmas tree and Christmas cards.
The man claims his parents had bought the items for him as a Christmas present.
The Guardian states the man’s mother had bought him a Santa Claus hat and two Christmas decorations, but it doesn’t say which of those items were for him.
The newspaper reported that the man has been awarded around £1,000 in damages.
